I strongly advise against visiting this establishment due to its inconvenient location, subpar service, high prices for drinks, and mediocre food quality. The location itself is quite unpleasant as it is situated near the basement of the building, resulting in an unpleasant odor that lingers in the area. The pricing of their drinks is simply unreasonable. For instance, I ordered a single glass of zero coke, and the cost was a staggering HKD 100. Such exorbitant pricing for a single serving is unacceptable. Furthermore, the quality of the food offered was average at best, failing to meet the expected standards. Service quality: When I politely asked if it would be possible to change the genre of the music playing, the staff rudely informed me that I had no say in the selection. The atmosphere seemed more reminiscent of a strip club, which was quite off-putting for my group of friends who found it uncomfortable.

Have been here for clubbing many times, always wanted to try their food too, finally got a chance to try their dinner after they reopened as they accept dinner reservations finally, I made the booking right away! I was thrilled to try this meal as I’m a fan of Shady’s food, knowing they are actually sister restaurants, I believed it should be guaranteed to be good. The food menu wasn’t too extensive, but good enough for us, and they have this happy hour from 6-8pm, $10 oyster and $100 gls champagne, pretty good value! We ordered 2 dozens oysters, scallop ceviche, truffle toastie, roasted chicken, Bavette Steak & fries.. 6 gls of champagne and 6 gls of red wine.. The food was not bad, my favourite would be truffle toastie, the chicken was surprisingly good too, so tender.. but I was a little disappointed with the scallop ceviche, it was not the type of ceviche I was expecting.. it was more like a mix green salad with cooked chopped scallop .. I personally really love ceviche, i would order it whenever I see it on the menu, but just won’t recommend this one.. The service was superb! All the staffs were super friendly and attentive, and they kept giving us free shots, it totally made our night even more pleasant. The ambiance was nice with live band music, the vibe was so different from the time we came here for clubbing (we stayed till 1am finally tho.. from dinner mode to clubbing mode all at the same place😂) Overall, I would still recommend this place if u love music and great food at the same time. Rating: 7/10 Around $8xx pp (3 pax) food + drinks

It’s actually one of my fav places in hk to enjoy live music and drinks and food with great ambience. However I got quite unhappy the other day when the staff asked if I wanted to tip the staff because the bill already included 10% service charge. In my opinion “service charge” should be tips to staff, instead of going to the restaurant. I would feel disappointed when the restaurant decided to take away the service charge from their staff and requires them to ask the customers to tip on top of the surcharge. I find this concept hard to accept. If the service charge indeed goes to the staff for their service, please refrain from asking me if I wanna tip on top verbally, because I could have selected the% accordingly on the machine if I do wanna tip extra. The ask made me very uncomfortable and I would say no simply because it made me uncomfortable.

Reviews here do not exaggerate - this place was fantastic! Absolutely delicious food, very attentive and friendly service, and we loved the special deal for oysters+sparkling. Oysters were very fresh and tasty, too. Loved the live music perfomance and the whole vibe of this place is just so great. A must-visit in Hong Kong!

Recently seem to only be there after 10pm but the one and only time food was had, the crab bisque, truffle toastie and bavette got me good. Dunk the toastie in that soup and be bisqued away...I love how the quail eggs on the toastie look like Haribo fired eggs :) - can't wait to go back for the and try the lemon sole and roast chicken. Come for the food, stay for the live band and then dance the night away to the best DJs in Hong Kong. The service is hot and the vibes are great.

Loved the whole underground theme. Its in the basement and can the entrance can be easily missed. The food was pretty good and the service was also prompt. Loved the music as it was 80s night.

Toastie of dreams! Team were happy to help and offer a vegetarian special, the porcini lasagne. Love the ambience and live music, a hidden gem in HK!
